Engineering FAQ

Technical & Procurement Questions

Direct answers from our senior laser applications engineers and quality inspectors.

Can you manufacture custom furniture components from sketches or 3D models?

Yes. We accept hand sketches, 2D vector files (DXF, DWG, AI), and 3D CAD models (STEP, IGES, SolidWorks). Our design engineers convert concepts into production laser cut patterns and press brake folding sequences.

How do you hide weld seams on polished brass and stainless table frames?

Our certified TIG welders apply high-purity argon shielding and color-matched filler rods. After welding, seams are metal-finished, ground flush, and hand-polished with fine abrasives until the joint becomes completely invisible.

Do you offer custom chemical patinas or protective clear coats for brass?

Yes. We offer hand-applied blackened, antique, or statuary bronze chemical patinas, as well as ultra-durable clear ceramic or baked lacquer sealants to prevent tarnishing and fingerprint staining.

What lead time is required for custom designer hardware runs?

Prototype and single-piece custom builds take 3 to 5 business days. Small batch production runs (10–100 pieces) ship within 5 to 10 business days.
